As you probably know, we have been organising track driving since 15 years now. Some of you have been going with us to racing tracks since the very beginning. You are getting really, really, fast. Now, for all of you fast guys out there that want a challenge in 2017 - let us present our gentlemans cup - King of Gran Turismo! In cooperation with Halda Watch Company and our tire partner Michelin.
For the 2017 season we are organising a gentlemen’s cup. It is held during the four events Gran Turismo Polonia, Baltica, Hungaria and Slovakia. We will have two classes - street legal cars and racing cars. Racing cars are allowed to have slicks. The object is to set the best lap time in each class.

King of Gran Turismo is sponsored by Halda Watch company and our tire partner Michelin. The winner of the racing class will win a special King of Gran Turismo Halda Race pilot with the Trackmaster GPS module. (Value: 7 000 EUR). The winner of the street legal class wins a supply of tires from Michelin.
Most importantly, both winners will have the right to call themselves King of Gran Turismo. They will also get a serious crystal trophy each, which is currently in production in Florence, Italy.
All participants can join King of Gran Turismo. It does not cost anything extra, besides the event registration. You can join on just one event, like Gran Turismo Polonia (and become King of Polonia), or you can join for all four featured events. It is up to you.
However, you need to sign up for King of Gran Turismo before the briefing starts on each event. We want to introduce all the drivers in each class during the briefing..
There are two classes: street legal cars and racing cars. Racing cars are allowed to have slicks.
Sadly, we have no class for radicals, formula cars or space shuttles, but you are allowed to play Michael Schumacher and set insane lap times with us during the timing sessions anyway. However, your lap time will not count in the competition. It will be a great show, though.
For King of Gran Turismo we have created timing sessions during the lunch break. The timing sessions are only open for drivers signed up for King of Gran Turismo. During this hour it is all about setting best possible lap time, being a street legal car or a racing car with slicks.
Race cars are only allowed on the track during the timing session, and one designated extra hour for training each driving day. This is usually the last or first hour of the day, when traffic is very low. Please see the schedules for each event.
During the lunch, the lap times will be displayed in the catering area on two large TV screens. One for each class. We believe the timed laps during the lunch will be a very fun and competitive addition to the events.
The one with the best time in each class will win the event, and become King of Polonia, King of Hungaria and so on. The ones with overall best times in each class for all four King of - events (Polonia, Baltica, Hungaria and Slovakia) take home the grand prize, and become King of Gran Turismo. This prize is handed out during a ceremony in Stockholm during the autumn. They also get the watches, the Michelins and the awesome crystal trophies from Florence.
Yes, you may. However you will only be able to drive it on the track during the lunch break during the timing session and the extra training hour at the beginning or end of each driving day. Please see the schedule for each event.
Great idea! Then you can use your street legal car for the open pit lane sessions, and your race car for the lunch breaks and training sessions.
However, the total number of cars (street legal + race cars) must be within the event maximums. For Polonia, this number is 150 cars. For Baltica, Hungaria and Slovakia the number is 72 cars. Also, to bring a second car comes at a cost. For Polonia the extra cost is 900 EUR. For Baltica, Hungaria and Slovakia this extra cost is 500 EUR.
First, you need to register to any of the four events selected for King of Gran Turismo. They are Gran Turismo Polonia, Gran Turismo Baltica, Gran Turismo Hungaria and Gran Turismo Slovakia.
Gran Turismo Polonia is fully booked. However, if you are interested in joining the complete series, we have pre-reserved places for you. Just let us know when you register.
After you have registered, please let us know by e-mail (peter@granturismo.org) that you also want to sign up for King of Gran Turismo - either for a single event, or for the whole season.

New event: Gran Turismo Toscana 2017
9 - 17 September @ Maranello and Tuscany
2017 marks the 70th anniversary of Ferrari. And, this event starts with us joining the Ferrari festivities in Maranello on the 9th of September. Then we have a week long road trip in beautiful tuscany, with all its culture, food, fine wines and incredible driving roads. The event is our most exclusive of the year with only 20 available places. It was released two weeks ago and is already 75% booked.

New: Gran Turismo California (26 March - 4 April) // Fully booked
We start the season with a completely new event in the calendar - an epic drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco, Napa Valley, Reno, Las Vegas and back. 2200 kilometers of beautiful roads like the Pacific Coast highway, and insane experiences like Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. The event is 7800 EUR and includes everything- even your own Ford Mustang muscle car. The event was released this Friday and we had a total of 30 available places. 28 are now booked. Fully booked

Gran Turismo Adriatica (6-14 May) // Fully booked
Start the summer in sunny Croatia and Montenegro. A road trip from Prague to Montenegro, driving on some of the most beautiful roads in Europe. The coast of Croatia, just by the Adriatic sea is a must experience for any sports car driver. On the way to Montenegro we stop at places like Zadar and Dubrovnik on Croatia and Mostar in Bosnia and Hercegovina. Fully booked
Gran Turismo Nurburgring (29 May - 1 June) / 10 places left
The most challenging racing track in world. 21 kilometers of fun. As always, we have two exclusive days on the track and three nights in Nurburg. The event is 2990 EUR and includes everything, two days on track and three nights in Dorint Hotel. Only 140 places are available. This event is for street legal cars only. / 10 places left

Gran Turismo Polonia (28 June - 2 July) // Fully booked
This is it. The main event of the year. Gran Turismo Polonia. As always we have three days on track, and four nights of fun in Poznan. The event is 2200 EUR, for two people sharing one car. Includes three days on track and four evenings of mad fun in the city of Poznan. For the 2017 edition we are limiting the number of places to 150 cars. Fully booked
Gran Turismo Baltica (12-16 July) / 10 places left
Estonia is an awesome country. Probably one of the best in the world. The racing track - Auto24ring is arguably the best racing track in this part of the world. The city Pärnu, where we stay for the event, is just fantastic in the summer.
AutoLife Track Day Gotland (26-30 July)
Our Swedish sister company AutoLife is organising an event on Gotland this weekend. Driving on the track and a weekend of fun in the party capital of Scandinavia during the famous “week 30”. More info to follow.

New: Gran Turismo Hungaria (16-19 August) / 12 places left
We were here in 2010. Everyone that joined us know that it was borderline insane. Now it is finally time to go back to this beautiful city and formula one track. For the 2017 edition we will be staying in Intercontinental hotel, on the Donau. The event is 2400 EUR and includes two days of driving on the track and three nights in Budapest. 12 places left
Hungaria + Slovakia combo. If you are also joining us for Gran Turismo Slovakia, we include a fourth night in Budapest for free. This extra night will be the Saturday between the events. A bunch of friends in Budapest on a Saturday night? What can go wrong? On Sunday the 21 August we drive together to Bratislava it is about 200 kilometers on brand new motorways.
Gran Turismo Slovakia 2017 (20-24 August) / 12 places left
The brilliant six kilometer race track Slovakia Ring. Three nights in Bratislava. This event has gained popularity from its first edition three years ago. For 2017 we are moving hotels - to Ritz/Carlton in the historical centre, with our cars parked in front. A better location, with the Bratislava nightlife just around the corner. As last year, the event is 1900 EUR for two people sharing one car. 12 places left

Gran Turismo Europa (26 August - 3 September) // Fully booked
A week driving on the best roads in Europe. Staying in the best hotels and having dinners in the best restaurants. In 2017 we drive a completely new route. In 2017, we will start in Paris (on Champs-Elysses) and drive east and stop in Champagne. The following day we continue to Germany, exploring new places like the Mosel and Rhein valley, before heading south towards Baden-Baden. After a drive through the Schwarzwald forest we continue to Switzerland, France, and Route Napoleon before ending the trip with a weekend in Saint-Tropez.
The 2017 edition is going to be about 8200 EUR, for two people sharing one car. This event is fully booked.
Gran Turismo Toscana (9 - 17 September) // 5 places left

For many, Spa-Francorchamps is the best racing track in the world. What better place to finish the 2017 season than here. Just this year, we have two days of driving on the track and three nights in Hotel de la Source. The event is 2300 for two people sharing one car.
