For the 2027 Europa tour, we return to the Alps and the most beautiful roads in the world.
The start is in Geneva. Not just anywhere, but at the famous La Réserve situated on the lake. This has long been the not-so-secret oasis for the guardians of morality: private bankers, UN diplomats, FIFA presidents, WHO officials and other upstanding custodians of the world order.
On our first driving day, we head south through Valais and spend the night in Italy at Grand Hotel Courmayeur.
The next day we zoom-zoom over the Sankt Bernard Pass to Crans-Montana for lunch, then drive the Furka Pass to Andermatt, where we stay at The CHEDI. Of course.
Third day means more mountain passes, first Susten and then the Grimsel Pass towards Obergoms for lunch before heading south to Como Lake and - drumroll for dramatic effect - Villa d'Este. This is the most elegant hotel on the planet, and we stay here for two nights.
After one day of chilling by the lake - or exploring the mountain roads nearby with your Ferrari and me - it is time for the final stages of the tour. A sprint on the ultra-fast Italian autostrada takes us to Monaco and the Fairmont Hotel. Nikki Beach and Buddha Bar.
The final day of driving is on the extremely entertaining Route Napoléon and ends at Byblos Saint-Tropez. This hotel needs no further introduction.
As always, the tour has a mix of breathtaking Alpine passes, some that we have visited before and some new. We will drive in Switzerland and Italy before heading south for the Côte d'Azur with Monaco and Saint-Tropez.
All hotels en route are iconic heavyweight luxury venues. Ville d'Este is considered the world's most elegant hotel.
