The 2027 edition of our annual road trip on the Adriatic coast, using the famous Magistral road, takes us from Portoroz all the way to Corfu, Greece.
Starting in Portoroz, we head south through the Istrian Peninsula to Pula and Opatija before following the spectacular Croatian coastline with overnight stops in Trogir and Dubrovnik. We then arrive in Montenegro for two nights at the magnificent Regent Porto Montenegro.
The journey continues into Albania, passing through Tirana before reaching Durres, where a special red-carpet welcome awaits. On the final day we follow the breathtaking Albanian Riviera south to Corfu, Greece, bringing our Adriatica adventure to a memorable conclusion.
We meet in Portoroz at Adriatic Istra Resorton Saturday, the 1st of May. You can relax from your trip today, while the team prepares your cars for the event ahead. In the evening, we will have dinner and the driver's briefing. We will have some advice to prepare you for this exciting road trip with your supercar.
The next seven days we enjoy the most stunning roads and views the Adriatic coast and the region have to offer. The Magistral, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and finally Corfu in Greece..
Every day will consist of about three to five hours of driving. We will also stop for lunches, pictures, historic monuments, or just great views – and there is no shortage of those in Croatia and Montenegro.
Ready? Here we go. This is the complete schedule for Gran Turismo Adriatica 2027.
The starting point of the event is in Adriatic Istria Resort a five-start hotel near Portoroz. Check-in to the event starts at 14:00. At about 19:00 we have a welcome mingle in the bar, before heading for dinner within the hotel an hour later.
If you have opted for a rental supercar from us, the car is available from the late afternoon. No problem to take it for a spin.

Our first driving day we spend on the beautiful Istrian peninsula, first heading south towards Pula, where we stop for lunch, and later following the east coast towards Opatija.
During the late afternoon we arrive at Ambasador Hotel. Dinner tonight will be in the harbour of Opatija, not far from the hotel.

We start off on the Magistral North immediately after leaving the Opatija and Rijeka municipal area. What follows is about three hours before lunch in the coastal town of Karlobag, and another exciting driving leg down to Trogir, all the while taking what is arguably the best road in the Adriatic.
In the afternoon, after about an hour on the highway, we arrive to Trogir and the Brown Beach House. Dinner in the hotel restaurant..

We head further south down the coast, until reaching the coastal town of Makarska, where we stop for lunch. Then, we continue on the Adriatic Magistral past Neum on the newly built brigde all the way to Dubrovnik.
In Dubrovnik we stay at Hotel Palace, a five-star resort on the beach. Tonight, we have dinner in Dubrovnik old town.

Today we start a bit later than usual. After brunch in the hotel, we start driving at 13:00, yet again following the coastline in a southward direction. We will arrive at the Montenegrin about an hour later.
After the border, we arrive at the beautiful bay of Kotor and later the five-star ultra luxurious Hotel Regent in Porto Montenegro, which will be our home for the next two nights.

Today, we start later than normal, at 11.00. The drive will take us to Budva, where we will turn up the exhilarating and fast hillclimb up the mountainside, all the way to Podgorica, where we turn around, and take the old and twisty road back to the Montenegrin coast.
The loop is completed upon our arrival to Budva, where we will park by the old city walls with plenty of locals welcoming us to their hometown. We will have lunch in the harbour, before completing the final thirty minute leg back to Porto Montenegro.
Of course, if you prefer to stay at the hotel and relax by the pool, you are welcome to do so.

We head down the Montenegrin Coast through Budva and Bar, until we reach the Albanian border. Shortly afterwards we hop on the new highway all the way to Tirana and later the coastal town of Durres, where we stay at the iconic Melia Durres.
Be ready for lots of attention upon arrival, we are preparing a red carpet event at the hotel.

During our final driving day of the tour we follow the Adriatic along the Albanian Riviera towards Greece using both coastal roads and mountain passes, stopping for lunch along the way. Welcome to a completely new part of the world which you probably have not visited before.
In Sarande we take the ferry to cross strait and arrive at our final stop of the tour, the paradise Island of Corfu. The ferry takes about an hour.
In Corfu we stay at Hotel Imperial, a five-star luxury resort, on the north shore of the Island. Dinner tonight is on the beach. Congratulations! You made it all the way from Croatia to Greece with Gran Turismo.
