We are excited to share a completely new event with you, scheduled for the spring of next year.
The new event marks the start of the 2026 driving season, and we call it Gran Turismo Amalfi.
We will start in Bari before heading west through Alberobello, Matera, Maratea, Salerno, and finally to Sorrento, via the Amalfi Coast. As always, the hotels, roads, and places we stop at are all top-notch.
All hotels en route are in the five-star luxury class.

The route will take us from Puglia, through Basilicata and Campania. The roads selected are the best of this region of Italy, and will include mountain passes with endless curves and the beautiful Amalfi Coastal road.
The Amalfi Coast is a bucket-list item for any traveler. To do it in a supercar makes it even better. We are doing the event before the high season starts, so there will be less traffic on this notoriously tight, yet picturesque road.
The total amount of driving is 800 km, spread out over four driving days. 150-200 km on twisty mountain roads each day is hard work - you will be pretty tired when arriving at the hotels after a day on the road. A glass of cold prosecco will taste great.
Wait, what? It is correct. If you are from overseas, you can drive one of our Ferraris on the event. The selection of cars is below. You can also join the event with your own supercar.
Welcome to Italy and Borgo Egnazia, a five-star hotel in Puglia set in an ancient palace, surrounded with endless olive groves. Check-in opens during the afternoon. Here, you also sign for the supercar you have chosen for the event.
Want to go for a spin with your Ferrari? No worries. Please don't be late for the welcome mingle starting at 19:00.

Welcome to the first driving day. We start by driving to the historic town of Alberobello before continuing to lunch in Grotta Palazzese in Polignano a Mare.
After lunch, we drive west towards Basilicata, and Matera using country roads all the way there. The geography of Puglia is filled with smooth, golden rolling hills as far as the eye can see.
In Matera, we stay at Sextantio le grotte della Civita. It is a hotel set in ancient caves dating back thousands of years, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience. You will very easily recognise the town, and the hotel – from the opening scenes of James Bond: No Time to Die.

Leaving Matera, we will drive towards the historic city of Potenza. As we approach Potenza, and the Apennine mountain ranges, the roads will become more and more dramatic.
The Basilicata region has some incredible roads in nature not expected in Italy. It somehow resembles the United States west, with long straights through an arid desert landscape. Many western movies were made here.
After lunch, we will take on SS95 which will lead us to the Tanagro river valley, where we take the superfast Italian highway for a bit, before reaching Maratea.
Aperitivo in the garden at 19:00, and later dinner by the pool.

Leaving Santavenere we will take the coastal SS18 road. The asphalt is nearly brand new down the whole coast even though it gets a little tight at times. The views that this road offers will remain etched in your memory forever, though.
Once we exit the mountain range, the view of the long, flat beach opens up. We will have lunch here, in Paestum, before continuing north along the coast. Top down, with the cool breeze from the sea in your hair, of course.

On the last day of the event, we drive one of the most iconic roads in the whole world – and the most beautiful as well. Welcome to the Costa Amalfitana. Driving here feels magical – navigating the curves with the imposing cliffside looming on your right, and the endless deep blue mediterranean shimmering on your left.
After a lunch stop in Positano, we will continue the Amalfi Drive, all the way to Sorrento, and our final hotel of the trip. Welcome to Hotel Excelsior Vittoria – a landmark in Sorrento.
Congratulations! You successfully checked off several bucket-list items, and completed the beautiful Amalfi drive! A well deserved glass of prosecco on the terrace, overlooking the bay of Sorrento is in order.
