Lotus vs Airplane - Who would win?

Have you ever thought about putting your sportscar to a race against it's airplane equivalent?

Of course you have. It is in our blood as car enthusiasts to compare fast things to see which is just that tiny bit faster.

We are here to answer the question. On an undisclosed location somewhere in Sweden, we improvised a very simple race course. Full beans from the start/finish line until the end of the runway, and back.

We put a Lotus Exige 350 Sport with 350 horsepower on the line against a Glasair 3 with 300 horsepower.

In the weight department - the Lotus stands at about 1225 kg with fuel and driver, whereas the Glasair weighs in at 1089 kg.

Will it be the small and agile Lotus, or will it be it's nimble winged counterpart? Let us know if you guessed correctly!
