The astonishing stats from the 2023 season

While we are well underway with organisation for the 2024 season, we thought we would share some interesting stats we gathered from 2023.

Let's get started.

During the 2023 season the total count of drivers came in at 921, this is including the co-drivers.

The number of total hotel nights booked in the past year comes up to 1945. Our week in Poland accounts for nearly 30% of this, with a total of 564 hotel nights on that event alone.

Moving a group of 100 supercars and close to 240 people across Poland means a ridiculous consumption of hotel rooms, weherever we stay. The 2024 edition of Gran Turismo Polonia starts in Gdansk on the 24th of June.

The most expensive hotel rooms we booked were in Paris, for the Mona Lisa special event. The cost per room at The Ritz was between 2 190 to 2 990 EUR depending on room class. While we needed 24 rooms, the overnight stay was over 50 000 EUR in total.

Now let’s take a look at the F&B. A grand total of 11 000 meals were served during 2023. The amount of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are all accounted for – which comes up to over 620 000 EUR. The most expensive dinner was in the Michelin starred Ristorante Aroma in Rome, overlooking the Colosseum, coming in at over 330 EUR per person.

The most expensive lunch was on Gran Turismo Europa, as is tradition, in the outrageously extravagant beach club Verde Beach, in Saint-Tropez. The lunch was a whopping 350 EUR per person. Gran Turismo Europa has been fully booked since September last year.

All the way to the moon

Now, let’s get to the fun stuff. The total kilometres driven on all road trip events came in at 357 670 kilometres. This is almost exactly all the way to the moon.

So Let’s take a quick look at some car-specific stats. During 2023, our group of drivers, which we call La Famiglia, is now more than 6 000 members from all over the world. Each one owns a supercar.
