A lovely boutique hotel with Swedish owners

This is a lovely boutique hotel near Acqui Terme. The hotel also has a winery with its own wine production. The houses are from the 16th century and are today renovated to the highest standards. There is also a pool and of course a fantastic restaurant.

There are only 18 rooms in total, which makes Villa La Madonna highly interesting for those seeking a private and exclusive experience. The hotel is very popular and requires booking well in advance.

The hotel includes a vineyard with Bar- bera and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The buildings are old and rich with a UNESCO protected wine cellar from the 16th century. Villa La Madonna is open from late March to mid November.

Villa La Madonna is owned by sisters Marie and Annica Eklund – who run the design company Bolon – and is managed by the couple Mikael and Helen Dahlgren from Sweden. They happily mingle with the guests during the evenings, making for an unforgettable dinner experience in the hotel restaurant. There is also a top class sommelier to help you with the wine selection.
