SP438 - Strada Asciano

A great road between Siena and Asciano. 19 Kilometers of pure joy with amazing scenery.

Directly east of Siena, there is a road leading to the village of Asciano which is absolutely wonderful. A full width road, filled from start to end with many fast corners that are great for supercars.

While it is on the shorter end of the spectrum, with 19 Kilometers of pure joy, it is an unequivocally Tuscan experience to drive this road. Rolling hills and vineyards for as far as you can see. The road is full-size the whole length, making it perfect for any supercar, with the fast-flowing nature of the road, the best choice must be something with a big engine - say a V12. The 812s, F12s and Aventadors well and truly make sense here,

The road ends in the village of Asciano, but you can continue on in the direction of Montepulciano - one of the fantastic wine hubs of the region. Take note to be careful driving through the villages. Slow down a bit and the locals will like you more.
