SP638 - Giau Pass

An amazing mountain pass near Cortina

Just south of Cortina is this fantastic mountain pass, also called Passo di Giau. Connecting the high altitude plateau in the north with the lower area of the south, this is probably one of the best driving roads in Italy.

The scenery is spectacular. Especially in the most northern part during the descent to the valley below. Asphalt quality is very high, and the road is wide enough for dynamic driving with a supercar. This is a fantastic road you should absolutely drive.
