The remains of Bugatti's defunct factory in Modena.
Once upon a time, in the nineties, Bugatti were manufactured in Modena. The model produced was the Bugatti EB110. The company went bankrupt, and production was shut down. Volkswagen subsequently bought the brand and moved production to Molsheim in France.
Bugatti's defunct factory premises in Modena remain. If you are adventurous you can climb over the gate and secretly visit the area. The grey buildings are still there, and have reached cult status. Be careful. Pay attention where you step.
Don't forget that the buildings have not been maintained in 25 years. It's dangerous but a lot of fun.
