Dorint is a great hotel at the Nurburgring

Dorint Hocheifel am Nurburgring is a four-star hotel located right at the Grand-Prix Strecke in Nurburg. Built-in a typical 1980s style it has many rooms with terraces facing the track. If there is a race, even Formula One, you can see all the action from the comfort of your own hotel room terrace. This is brilliant.

Another great feature of the hotel is the now-classic "Cockpit" bar. Located on the bottom floor of the hotel, near the conference area, you will find this amazing hotel bar. The walls are absolutely crammed with racing memorabilia, trophies and posters. This is the go-to spot after every important event on the track.

The bar was frequented by the extremely charismatic Dorint hotel manager Josef (also known as Mr Don't Worry Be Happy) for many years. Josef sadly passed away a few years ago, but his spirit is deeply embedded in the bar forever. Don't forget to wear a white glove when having a shot of Eifelgeist.
