A beautiful road along the Amalfi Coast

This road runs along the Amalfi Coast, from Sorrento to Positano and to the town of Amalfi. The road ends in Salerno. Sometimes the road is very narrow, especially when driving through the many small villages along the route. However, it is incredibly beautiful. Oh my god, is it breathtaking.

As you drive through Positano and the town of Amalfi you will sometimes be a little scared. Many meetings with other cars are made with such a small margin that they require crawling speed with the side mirrors retracted. However, it usually goes well, and you will be able to continue moving forward. Beautiful? Yes. Chaotic? Absolutely.

Do not make the mistake of driving this road during high season. Then this distance of just 60 km can take a whole day – seven hours. Seven hours of endless queues. Instead, choose late September or before May. Everything else is pure madness. All other times you park your supercar at the hotel and rent a Vespa for the day.
