SP232 - Panoramica Zegna

A wonderfully scenic road that passes through a park called Oasi Zegna

Panoramica Zegna is a wonderfully scenic road that passes through a park called Oasi Zegna. The park was built by textile contractor Ermenegildo Zegna in the early 90's and also includes a small ski resort which is open during the winter season.

The road SP232 begins in a village called Villanova Biellese. However, you can conveniently ignore the first part of the road and start from the village of Valle Mosso instead. There you set the navigation to Bocchetto Sessera and follow the SP232 road north at first, then head west through the park. Maybe not the world's fastest and exciting road, but oh so beautiful.

Once you reach Bocchetto Sessera, you can continue west on route SP 115 towards Rosazza. At Rosazza, take a sharp left and drive south east on Route SP100 along the Torrente Cervo River towards Biella. If you want to drive the whole lap back to Valle Mosso, you turn onto SP200 when you reach Andorno Cacciorna. The entire lap is about 60 kilometers and takes about an hour and a half.
