SR429 - Cetamura Road

A dynamic stretch of road in Chianti.

This is a great albeit a little short stretch of road between Cetamura in Chianti, where it gets its name from, and Castellina in Chianti.

Most of the road is surrounded by lush greenery all around, making it a driver-focused road. It is akin to a little brother to the Strada Fioraie nearby. Somewhat less high-paced in terms of corners, it is faster overall than the Fioraie road. While the asphalt is not the best ever it still provides a very exciting drive.

If you start from the Cetamura side in the East, the road finishes connecting to the more relaxed SR222 which brings you back to Florence in the North, or to Siena if you are heading South. Alternatively, keep going West towards the Strada Fioraie and Poggibonsi.
