Masseria il Melograno is located near the town of Monopoli. This is where the famous board game Monopoly was invented in the late 17th century. No, it wasn't. We are joking. The board game Monopoly saw the light of day in the 30s in the US and has nothing to do with Apulia.

Now to Masseria il Melograno. This is a very comfortable and relaxed hotel housed in an old farm. In the area there is a large swimming pool and a very good restaurant. The rooms are in a somewhat rustic style, with tiled floors and discreet air conditioning. Prices start at about 350 euros per night during high season for a double room.

The restaurant is amazing. A dinner here means insane amounts of food and wine. There will also be dancing, wheter you like it or not. You will have lots of different dishes, and your hosts will be very disappointed if you don't try everything. Tip: arrive really hungry!
