Sixteen years ago, 42 supercars went to Poland for the first edition of Gran Turismo Polonia. Three years later this would become the most important supercar event east of Berlin. But of course, no one of us knew this back then.
Now, it is time to start a new chapter of this already classic event. In 2021, Gran Turismo Polonia takes a completely new form, and you are invited.
A lot of great things have happened in Poland since our start in 2005. The entire country has taken a gigantic leap forward. Forget the potholes - the roads are now great. The highway network is amazing - probably the best in Europe.
Also, forget all the grey - Poland has become beautiful, with colourful city centres that look like something from a fairytale. There has also popped up a million great hotels, restaurants and places to visit.
We have been waiting for this moment for many years. Now it is finally time. Starting from next year, Gran Turismo Polonia is not only a track driving event in Poznan. The event will now include the entire country. And - it will be great fun.
Every year will be a different route through Poland. However, the event will always end in Poznan with two days of driving on the amazing racing circuit Tor Poznan which we all love so much.
Gran Turismo Polonia 2021 starts in Wroclaw. We then drive to Krakow, Warsaw and Poznan. The event is seven days in total, six nights in hotels. Two days of track driving on Tor Poznan. It is a complete program with dinners in selected restaurants every night, VIP access to night clubs in Krakow, Warsaw and Poznan and safe parking for your car. As always, everything is included.
As every year, we will drive on the fantastic Tor Poznan race track. All cars, regardless of noise, can drive on the track, provided that the driver follows the marshals' instructions. We will have lap timing active if you want to join the King of Polonia time attack challenge.
No worries, there is an option to just join for the part in Poznan and Tor Poznan. See the registration below.
In 2021, over 100 supercars (and 200 people) will be going through Poland, from Wroclaw to Poznan. With so many cars, the scale of the road trip is massive. There will be police escort, and sometimes a bit of fun confusion. And, wherever we go, on the highway, through a village on a country road or stopping at a gas station - be prepared for extreme levels of attention. This might be the most insane road trip you have ever participated in. The registration is open now.
On the 1st of July you arrive in Wroclaw - a city with close to one million inhabitants in west Poland. Your car is hand washed by our team and then parked in a safe garage right next to the hotel. This night we have a drivers briefing in the hotel before going for dinner in the restaurant OK Winebar, which is located in the city centre.
13:00 - Check-in opens in Hotel Monopol
19:00 - Welcome mingle and briefing in the roof top bar
20:00 - Dinner in OK Winebar

This day our journey begins. After breakfast, we meet in the garage and get ready to drive. At about 10:00 we get picked up by police who will escort us through the city to the highway.
Our first stop, about an hour away, is the city of Opole. Here we take a short break with coffee in the city square. After coffee, we continue on the motorway towards Katowice.
About one hour later we arrive in Ferrari Katowice, where we have lunch in their acclaimed Italian restaurant.
The last bit to Krakow will be on beautiful country roads. We will drive through villages, hills and forest before we arrive in Krakow in the late afternoon. We will stay in Sheraton Krakow with all cars parked on the river embankment.
Drink in the hotel bar at 19, before we head to the insanely pretty old square for dinner at 20. Later, we have VIP tables reserved in night club Scena 54.

Furthermore - Warsaw has a real skyline, with 24 skyscrapers and 25 more in various stages of construction(!). In a few years, there will be more tall buildings in Warsaw than in any other city in Europe - including London.
Tonight we will stay in Hotel InterContinental, with our cars parked in their underground parking. Dinner will be in Hala Koszyki, and later we will visit the famous night club The View, which (of course) is on the rooftop of a skyscraper. Welcome to Warsaw!
