Want to see our cars up close and experience the awesome sound of high-revving engines? Join us on the public street shows in Gdynia and Poznan!
On July 24th between 15.00 and 18.00 we are going to show the cars on Kosciuszki Square in Gdynia and are eager to meet you there.
The day after, on July 25th between 16.00 and 19.00 we are turning Antoniego Baraniaka street (close to Malta Lake) to a temporary race track. See the cars in action and meet the drivers! Welcome.
It all started back in 2005. Peter Ternström invited a group of supercar owners to join him for a trip to Poland and Tor Poznan.
Now, who would like to bring their brand new Ferrari or Lamborghini to the former eastern bloc? It turned out to be quite a lot - the first event was completely booked in less than 14 days. Never before had so many exotic cars visited Poland at the same time.
Fast forward to today, Gran Turismo Polonia is the most important supercar event in Poland. No other event attracts 70-odd exotics every year to Poznan and Tor Poznan. Popular demand is extremely high, and the list of participants is usually full six months prior to the event.
The event starts with a pre-party in Gdynia/Sopot on the 24th of July. On the 25 July we leave Sopot as one chaotic group for the official opening of the event in Poznan. 26-28 July are days on the track, with the last day containing examination and a gala dinner on the evening. Most participants leave Poznan on the morning of 29 July.

Situated in the far west of the country only 250 km from Berlin, Poznan is one of the major cities in Poland with over 800'000 inhabitants. Due to a high concentration of universities some 200'000 are students.
Poznan is also the home of the only race track in Poland - Tor Poznan. Tor Poznan is a technical and fast track, which takes a lot of practice to master. The track got new asphalt after our first visit in 2005 and is now in very good condition.
The main object for our driving sessions on Tor Poznan is to find the ideal line of the track. The ideal line consists of positioning, breaking points, turn-in points and curve apexes. The instructors are eager to help you find the optimum line for your car and driving style.
We drive according to "open pit lane" regulations. This means that there are no strict driving sessions - you can go out on the track whenever you like.
During the examination on the third day, your skills of driving a fast lap on the ideal line will be put to the test.
We stay at the recently built Andersia Hotel, which has excellent rooms, service and a secure parking. Its neatly located in the heart of Poznan, not far from both shopping and the vibrant night life of Poznan. For 2010, the hotel has a brand new health spa.
