Were sorry, but this event is fully booked.
On the banks of river Danube lays a city that is a favourite for many of us Budapest. With over 3 million inhabitants, it is one of the larger metropolitan areas in Europe. Scattered with beautiful architecture and wide streets, its been dubbed "the Paris of the East". Becoming very popular in the roaring 1920s for its many SPAs and decadent partying, it created a tradition of good atmosphere and hospitality not often found in cities of that size.
Hungaroring was built in 1985, hosting its first Formula 1 championship in 1986. Situated on Bernie Ecclestone road, 19km from the centre of town by the village Mogyorod, its in the centre of a natural valley surrounded by 50 acres of lush rolling hillsides.
The total length of the track is 4.3 kilometres and the straight is almost 800 metres long. There are both quick and slow turns, with a height difference from lowest to highest point of 36 metres.
Considered a very technical and difficult track by F1-drivers, it suites our fast supercars much better and is a lot of fun. It is also a very safe venue since it has to meet the strictest safety requirements set by the FIA.
We have three days on the track with experienced instructors to show us the correct line. We will be driving according to open pit lane regulations, except for the first hour of the day which is exclusive for beginners. Three full days on the track means that you can relax and enjoy the circuit with no stress. Traditional Hungarian food is served in the hospitality area of the track at lunchtime.
Is Budapest too far? Think again. Its only about 1000 km from Rostock, merely 10 hours of driving away. Thanks to the European Union, the Czech Republic and Hungary now have the best highways in Europe, with very little traffic. With a bunch of other supercars going in the same direction, this will be a lot of fun!
